Terms of service.

Why Miss Taylor’s Outlines Terms and Conditions.

At Miss Taylor’’s we have a customer first policy, where we are keen to undertake work that a customer has requested and build a long term relationship for repeat business. In order that there can be no “misunderstandings” between us and you,u the customer, we have decided to outline our working terms and conditions and ask customers to accept these before any work is undertaken.
Please note - we will ask you to confirm that you have read, understood and accepted our terms and conditions prior to work taking place and any invoice will also reference our terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions

Supply of Materials:

Materials (typically paint) can be supplied by you the customer, or we can supply as part of the service. Where we are supplying the materials, any deposit requested (see Payment section) will be sufficient to cover the cost of the materials and is required prior to the job being booked in/confirmed.
In addition material collection will be chargeable (typically no more than 1hr).

Payment

A deposit is normally required to confirm booking of the work, any deposit will cover the materials (if being supplied by Miss Taylor’s) and the first day of work. Invoices will be generated typically every 3 working days (as a small business we rely on regular payments).

Our Right to Cancel

We have the right to terminate the project under the following conditions:
  • If for any reason, we feel the safety of any of our tradespeople are threatened (in their opinion)
  • Through illness or sickness
  • Failure to settle outstanding invoices in a prompt manner.

Your Right to Cancel Work

Customers have the right to cancel the project at any stage (from the end of that working day), with no commitment to Miss Taylor’s beyond settling any outstanding balance.

The Project

Miss Taylor’s decorating looks to provide a high-quality finish. Photos will be taken of the work undertaken to ensure the work is completed to a high standard and provide all parties with peace of mind. It should be noted that whilst efforts will be taken to ensure furniture/carpets in the immediate vicinity are protected, the very nature of decorating can generate dust and spillage that potentially can go further. Customers should expect that a degree of clean-up work will be required once the decorating is completed and this would not normally be something that we would undertake (beyond a basic tidy up).

Estimated Pricing

Whilst every effort is spent to give correct estimated pricing, occasionally complications can arise with paint coverage or the preparation of surfaces etc. Any revision in prices will be advised as the project continues, with the reasons highlighted/demonstrated.
